BLS: Basic Life Support

BLS  is for healthcare providers, eg., a Nurse, Nursing Student, PA, MD, EMT as well as non health care providers eg, Police and Military personnel.

This class covers: Adult compression-only CPR/AED, mouth to mouth and mouth to mask using both a pocket mask and oxygen Bag Valve Mask on an Infant, Child and Adult.  Choking on a responsive and unresponsive victim is taught, as well as Intra-nasal Narcan administration. 

This class is taught using simulated clinical scenarios which include hands-on participation.

The course is the same for both first-time takers and renewals. Upon completion of the course students receive their American Heart Association BLS course completion card.

ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

ACLS is for Health Care Providers to learn to evaluate and treat cardiac rhythms, using medications, cardiac monitoring, electrical therapy and advanced airway placement. ACLS training allows you to handle these situations easily and with success. 

Upon completion of the course, students receive their American Heart Association ACLS course completion card.  Lunch and refreshments are included in the price of the class. The cost is $345 for the full two-day course, or $295 for the renewal course.

PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support

PALS is designed for Healthcare Providers in the                 pals doctor      resuscitation of the pediatric patient at the advanced level using medications, cardiac monitoring, electrical therapy and advanced airway placement.

PALS is a two-day course and is typically taught twice a month. If you have already taken PALS in the past and need to renew, you may instead take the one-day PALS renewal course. Upon completion of the course, students receive their American Heart Association PALS course completion card. Lunch and refreshments are included in the price of the class. The cost is $349 for the full two-day course, or $300 for the renewal course.

Heartsaver CPR AED First Aid
ECG training

Heartsaver is for non-healthcare workers with limited or no medical training who need a course completion card in CPR, First Aid, and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. No written test is required for this course. The course covers: Adult, Child and Infant CPR and AED use, How to perform mouth to mouth and mouth to pocket mask breaths, How to save a choking Adult, Child, and Infant as well as, basic first aid with medical emergencies.                    Upon completion of the course students receive their Heartsaver CPR AED First Aid course completion card that is valid for two years.
